What's in Your Pocket?

If I ever lose a jacket and must offer a description to reclaim it, this is what I'll say:

"Check the pockets. You'll find three crumpled, used tissues in one pocket. In the other pocket, there will be a small wad of new tissues, two black hair rubber bands, and an empty candy wrapper. You may or may not find a rolled up dollar bill and a penny."

Every single jacket or sweater I put on has these items in the pockets. I am extremely predictable. Plus, I have a sniffling nose all winter. And I eat too much candy.

So, what's in your pocket?

very similar items, tissues, used and new, hair bands, a toy car or two, a gum wrapper and the possibilty exists that a piece of chewed up gum might be stuck in there, definetely a penny and hopefully a chocolate!

Always, I have a wadded up thrift store receipt, small change and stuff I grabbed before it had a chance to be sucked up in a vacuum cleaner.

So today I have a wadded up thrift store receipt (i spent a whopping 85 cents on eight books), a dime and a nickle. Nothing else, as I haven't vacuumed, yet.

a handful of change, crumpled up dollar bills, a receipt, and a chapstick. If anyone in the house is broke or needs change they just head for my coats or jeans for money.

Left pocket: my real estate agent's business card, the receipt from when I ordered my son's birthday cake a few weeks ago, and wadded kleenex.

Right pocket: $1 in quarters.

My favorite thing about putting a coat on for the 1st time each season is to see what I left in it last year.

Wow, our pockets are very similar. I, of course, do not EVER go out of the house without chapstick in my pocket. I don't think you mentioned that one. :-)

I always have a tissue in my pocket, and during the winter I also have a dryer fabric softener sheet tucked in the pocket of every coat I own. Yes, put one in your pocket and you won't get a static shock when you get out of the car!!!! Works like a charm.

Kleenex and Halls Cough Drops these days, often a receipt and a dollar or two and some coins. I purposely leave movie ticket stubs in jacket pockets and enjoy finding them again after awhile and remembering the movie and who I saw it with-if anyone! I like going to movies alone, too!

I too, have tissues stashed in the pockets of every jacket I own. Unfortunately, most of them are so old it's hard to tell if they are used or clean. Yuck.

Also some hair rubber bands, a handful of loose dog treats (ick!) and some chapstick.

Great post.
