Forbidden

I know, I know. My new website has forbidden us all to enter. I have no idea why, but my tech guy will be back in town Monday and hopefully he'll wave his magic wand and fix all my problems. Well, at least he'll fix my website problems.

If ever there were a time to swear, this would be it, but alas, I do not swear, except for Christian cursewords like "shoot" and "darn" and "gosh."

Shoot. That darn website!

Funny that we're both having 'issues' with websites and computers at the same time. I wrote an entry last night and went to post it, only to have my computer chow down on it for a late-evening snack. It didn't even leave any crumbs! ARGHHHHHH! That's my Christian swear word, lol...that, and "You dirty bird!", one of my Dad's all-time favorites. Hang in there, Mel...it'll get sorted out one way or another. Just take a "chill day"...get away from the computer and get out and enjoy some of our GLORIOUS Pacific NW weather! Gonna be around 80 degrees in Portland this week...woooo hoooo!

My sister has a favorite, which I have stolen, that feels just as good coming off the lips as a 'real' swear word. It's particularly effective when one has stubbed one's toe quite hard.

FUDGEKNUCKLES!!!!!

I don't like being Forbidden to anything! I bet if my Peanut wanted in she'd get in because she's just that stubborn.

Don't you just hate when things like that happen?

We use fake curse words too (well, most of the time) and sometimes get creative with them. Once my husband closed his finger in the door and yelled "MOTHER ... BUTLER ... PIES...!!!" while shaking his hand violently. I turned around and looked at him in total confusion. "What did you just say?" "It hurts."
