Scream of Blue Death
Stupid computer. As of 3:17 p.m., it is randomly shutting down. I wiped the hard drive clean (again), reinstalled everything (again) . . . and still, the computer shuts down.
A virus? Perhaps.
If so, I hope the originator ends up inhell Chuck E. Cheese's.

Do you use any anti-virus software? It sounds like a worm or a trojan on your system. You can download a home-users version of AVG from www.grisoft.com. I've found this effective in the past. Good luck with it!

Perhaps just toss the thing out an upper storey window. Problem solved?
